Chase’s advice to clean the throttle body instead of replacing it saved the customer a bunch of money. Instead of replacing the part Chase cleaned the throttle body and removed all the carbon that was interfering with its function. Then he did an idle learn reset to make sure the engine adjusted to the cleaned throttle body.

After the cleaning and reset Chase took the Chevy Cobalt for a test drive to verify the results. The car was running like new with no more rough idle issues or performance problems when the AC was turned on or the car came to a stop.
